The terms under which you may use Spin for SIM™ materials and resources.

By accessing, downloading, adapting or using Spin for SIM™ materials, resources, scenarios, implementation guides, educational content, branding, website resources or associated materials (“the Materials”), you agree to the following terms.
Spin for SIM™ is an educational programme conceived and developed by Dr Lucinda Whitton and collaborators. All intellectual property rights in the Spin for SIM™ methodology, educational framework, branding, logos, website content, implementation materials, scenario templates, resources and associated documentation remain the property of Dr Lucinda Whitton unless otherwise stated. All commercial rights in Spin for SIM™ are reserved exclusively to Dr Lucinda Whitton. Nothing in this licence transfers ownership of any intellectual property, or any commercial rights, to users or organisations.
Healthcare organisations, NHS Trusts, educational institutions and individual healthcare professionals are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free licence to use the Materials for non-commercial educational purposes only, including to:

Spin for SIM™ encourages local adaptation to reflect local practice, policies and learning needs. Adaptations remain subject to this licence and do not confer ownership of the underlying Spin for SIM™ methodology or framework.
The Materials are provided “as is” and for educational purposes only. While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, you remain responsible for reviewing, validating and approving all Materials before use. Spin for SIM™ does not provide clinical advice and, to the extent permitted by law, accepts no liability for any educational or clinical decisions arising from use of the Materials.
When you first register as a facilitator, we record your professional role, your employing trust and the date of registration. We use this only to understand how many facilitators are using Spin for SIM™, in which roles and across which trusts; we do not collect or retain other unnecessary personal identifying information for this purpose.
To record acceptance of this licence, we additionally store your name, your role, your account identifier, the licence version and the date and time of acceptance. This information is processed to administer the licence and is held in accordance with our Privacy Notice. Dr Lucinda Whitton is the data controller.
Where practical, organisations should acknowledge:

This licence is granted to your organisation for an initial period of six (6) months commencing on the date it is first accepted by a representative of your organisation (that is, the first person to sign in to your organisation’s account). At or after the end of that period it will be reviewed and may be renewed, varied or withdrawn at the sole discretion of Dr Lucinda Whitton.
Dr Lucinda Whitton reserves the right, at any time and on reasonable notice, to amend these terms, to introduce commercial or paid licensing arrangements, or to suspend or withdraw this licence in whole or in part. Continued use of the Materials after the initial six-month period, or after any change to these terms, constitutes acceptance of the then-current terms; if you do not agree to the updated terms, you must stop using the Materials.
Withdrawal or expiry of this licence does not affect educational sessions already delivered, but you must cease any further use of the Materials unless a renewed or new licence is in place.
This licence may also be withdrawn if you breach these terms, including misrepresentation of authorship, unauthorised commercial use, or infringement of intellectual property rights.
This licence is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
This licence grants no commercial rights of any kind. All commercial rights in Spin for SIM™ are reserved exclusively to Dr Lucinda Whitton. If you have any questions about this licence, contact [email protected].
